That’s right, it’s all about you. We’re kicking off Week 1 of our Lockdown love series with the theme of Self-love. Sometimes the relationship we end up neglecting the most in our lives is the one with ourselves. Although it can be easy to neglect this in our everyday lives, loving ourselves for who we are helps in turn nourish the relationships around us as we can give more love to others. After all, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Given we’ll be spending more time with ourselves one on one during lockdown, it’s more important than ever to love, care and nourish yourself.

What are you telling yourself about you? Sometimes it can be instinctual to affirm ourselves with what we feel our weaknesses and insecurities are, it almost feels like an easy route, an easy, yet toxic give in. We can sometimes be our biggest enemy. With all the pressures and difficulties during this Covid time, showing love to yourself is super important. Encourage and be kind to yourself in every moment of your life because whatever you may be going through, you are strong enough to overcome it and every single thing that hurls your way in life.
