Day 4 – Meditation
There’s something really special about spending quiet time amongst nature. Being still against the backdrop of chirping birds, trees and a fresh breeze can bring a different level of peace. When we take in a breath with mindfulness, we can feel the connection we have with the environment around us. Each breath we take is dependent on nature around us and nature around us depends on our actions too. Acknowledging this deep connection we have with our planet develops a greater appreciation and love towards the planet we live on.
Whenever you can, take some time to sit outdoors or with your windows open indoors. Take in all you can with every single one of your senses. The sounds of birds chirping, the fresh breeze, the swaying trees. Be still and take it all in. It’s a beautiful form of meditiation. If you’re feeling stressed, you’ll notice time will instantly feel slower and it’ll help you recenter.
